SVHeber nu, de Keniet, had zich afgezonderd van Kain, uit de kinderen van Hobab, Mozes' schoonvader; en hij had zijn tenten opgeslagen tot aan den eik in Zaanaim, die bij Kedes is.

wəḥeḇer haqqênî nifərāḏ miqqayin mibənê ḥōḇāḇ ḥōṯēn mōšeh wayyēṭ ’âŏlwō ‘aḏ-’ēlwōn baṣə‘annîm bəṣa‘ănannîm ’ăšer ’eṯ-qeḏeš:


ACיא וחבר הקיני נפרד מקין מבני חבב חתן משה ויט אהלו עד אילון בצענים (בצעננים) אשר את קדש
ASVNow Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the brother-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
